Meet the facilitators:
These are the facilitators and companions walking alongside the young men, holding space and guiding the process.

Martijn Cornelissen is a coach, mentor, and facilitator of men’s work. He supports men and boys in stepping into their full potential through self-awareness, connection, and purpose.

With formal training and over a decade of experience in social work, coaching, and men’s work, Martijn creates transformative spaces where vulnerability becomes a source of strength. Based in East Clare, where he lives with his family, he is passionate about nurturing mature masculinity and empowering the next generation of grounded, resilient leaders.

Ronan Daly grew up above the family pub in Blackpool, Cork city. He trained as an engineer and worked in renewable energy for over a decade. In 2010 he moved to west Cork and began to deepen his connection with community, nature and self.

During this time, he was drawn to working with young people in various capacities; be it as a facilitator for teenagers at summer camps, a volunteer with Childline and Samaritans, or simply as an engaged adult in the lives of young people. He loves to sing, play guitar and soccer and is a facilitator of men’s circles.

Peter Roden began his journey into men’s work over 20 years ago on a retreat in Australia—and he never looked back. Since then, he has travelled the world, learning from Indigenous shamans and renowned teachers in men’s work, clowning, and trauma healing.

A gifted speaker, storyteller, healer, and often called a magician, Peter weaves these threads into powerful retreats that awaken purpose, connection, and authentic expression, while inviting deep healing. His vision is of a safe world where men live in harmony—and where war becomes a thing of the past.

Martijn, Peter, and Ronan are the main guides on this rite of passage walk, supported by a circle of dedicated men. Their friendship has been forged over years of deep connection, meaningful collaboration, and a shared commitment to men’s work.

With trust, humility, and a unified vision, they invite you to step into this sacred journey — a path of remembering, release, and renewal.

Conor Godsil has worked with some of the best adventure therapy providers across Ireland, using his advanced training as a sailor and drawing on a deep connection to Irish culture, heritage, and history—while keeping things simple.

His grá for working with young people in the outdoors has led him around the world and around the island of Ireland.

Meet the support circle:
These are the people who support the rite from behind the scenes

Sujith Ravindran is a contemporary mystic and multiple-time author in the fields of consciousness, spirituality, and leadership. He holds space for leaders and institutions across sectors and advises international bodies on holistic education.

With decades of devotion to the path of mature masculinity, Sujith serves as the mentor and ceremonial guide behind the scenes, holding the invisible architecture of the process. His guidance is rooted in ancient wisdom and shaped by the needs of our time, offering a steady, unseen presence that anchors the depth and integrity of the journey.

Ad Schoenmakers, from the southern Netherlands, began as an electronics engineer and inventor. A burnout in 2019 sparked a life-changing shift toward personal growth and leadership.

He’s now active in Men’s Work, serving on the board of Firemakers, organising the European Festival of Brotherhood and facilitating men's circles at the Sanctuary of the Brethren where he is also the keeper of the land.

Living off-grid beside the Sanctuary, Ad follows his passion for blacksmithing in his own forge.
